The Cardiff Refugee Jobs Fair – 28th February 2024

We are so excited to announce our next Refugee Jobs Fair, being held in Cardiff on 28th February 2024. It has been designed as a ‘one-stop shop’ for refugee employment with support agencies, local authorities and employers all there to provide advice, guidance and jobs! This FREE event is being hosted by Cardiff City Council Into Work in partnership with the Refugee Employment Network, Migrant Help, Welsh Refugee Council, Displaced People in Action (DPIA), DWP and Oasis.

What is the support/help and benefits from attending the event?

• Refugees will gain support and advice to navigate the barriers related to employment
• Support with language translation on the day
• Opportunity to meet employers who have live vacancies across a range of sectors

Agenda

The event will run from 11.45 AM to 5.15 PM, split between 3 separate sessions which refugees can attend. Employers and services will be available throughout the whole day for refugees to access. The sessions are as follows:

Session 1 : 11.45 - 1.15

Session 2: 2 - 3.30

Session 3: 3.45 - 5.15
