Digital Orchard – Marketing Manager

About the role:
We are looking for an efficient, driven and creative Marketing Manager to join our expanding team at Digital Orchard. The main purpose of this role which reports to
Head of Sales and Marketing, is to deliver impactful, resourceful and brand appropriate marketing, sales and communication activities for the company that will support business growth across all our service areas, including our Foundation events, training and campaigns.
What the job will look like:
• Planning and delivering live and online events, from large-scale expo stands and company parties, to intimate roundtables, training workshops and client
entertaining
• Overseeing outgoing content across all marketing channels, coordinating with colleagues as required to capture content opportunities, craft messages and
share successfully via newsletters, social media, press releases and other platforms
• Managing email, print and gift mailings, including recommending when, what and how to communicate the messages we want to share
• Responsibility for accuracy and efficiency with our data management systems, including tracking client engagement and success of campaigns, working with the team to log all business-critical information in a secure and comprehensive way
• Supporting with key press relationships, writing articles, recording interviews and proactively seeking out media opportunities
• Coordinating event attendance, including inviting guests, briefing staff, booking tickets and securing competition/prize opportunities
• Directly engaging with clients/prospects as required, via email, phone, meetings and events
• Proof-reading and research
• Budget management and reporting
• Other ad-hoc duties as required
About you:
• Excellent written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised with a great attention to detail
• Good IT skills including knowledge in the use of Macs and all relevant software
• A friendly, motivated manner with a flexible and dedicated approach to work
• Highly self-motivated, loaded with common sense, resourceful, and confident working independently
• Able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at once, and to manage strategy and delivery tasks side by side
• 3 years + in a similar role or equivalent experience
• Experience setting a marketing, sales and communications strategy
• Design skills, including knowledge of InDesign or equivalent
• Knowledge of the film and television industry
• Creative writing skills
• Budget management experience
• Commercial sales experience
• Video editing skills
• Presentation and/or interviewing experience

Details of the role:
• 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (flexible working arrangements can be considered)
• Salary - £30k to £38k dependent on experience. Please state your salary expectations with application.
• The Digital Orchard office is in the countryside near Chorleywood (HP8 4AX) – please ensure that you could easily travel to and work from the office. We may be able to arrange support with driving lessons and/or car hire as part of an initial employee support.
