REN Meeting with the Open University

Following the REN Annual Summit we invited our members to a virtual meeting with the Open University to find out more about their courses and discuss further how REN’s members can be involved.

This event took place virtually on on the 19th of October 2020 between 11:00am and 12:00pm

We were delighted to welcome Simon Tindall, the Head of Skills and Innovation at The Open University.  He focuses on developing new links and channels for the OU for commercial and social remit opportunities.  Previously Simon worked for a number of technology and EdTech companies before joining the University.

Simon presented a half hour presentation about OU explaining how refugees can be enrolled in the OU courses to pave the way for themselves to find employment.

This presentation was followed by Q&A.
